TD-724 Four-Station Gas Spring Press-Fit & Edge Folding Machine
What it does
A gas spring or tailgate strut needs its end cap, seal and guide pressed into the cylinder and the tube end folded closed. TD-724 is the same press-fit and edge folding machine type as TD-AT155, built on a four-station rotary table so the operator loads and unloads at one position.
Station sequence
- Station 1: the operator places a new part and removes a finished one; the machine pauses during the change for safety.
- Station 2: pneumatic press-fit of the components.
- Station 3: hydraulic tube-end edge folding.
- The part returns to station 1 for unloading.

Is TD-724 the same as TD-AT155?
Both press-fit the components and fold the tube end; the function is the same. TD-724 is the four-station rotary configuration. We recommend the layout based on your part and line.
