Why automotive suppliers use cold roll closing
Cold roll closing forms the tube end in one piece with no weld seam and no heat-affected zone; the wall thickens at the closure, so pressure and fatigue strength exceed a welded cap. One operation, no filler, no grinding. End shape (dome, flat, center hole) is set by tooling or program, so batches are consistent.
